PRINTING SALES - COMMERCIAL BOOK / OFFSET AND DIGITAL PRINT:
Due to expansion into the short run digital market, we are seeking a salesperson for the development of commercial accounts in the Chicago area. The ideal candidate will be goal oriented, accountable, have a positive attitude, and be self-motivated with capability of operating out of a home office environment. Previous experience in commercial print sales or the short run book market is preferred. United Graphics, Inc., an Illinois based company, is a full capability manufacturer which has been in the offset print / offset book manufacturing business for 35 years and is ranked among the top 30 book manufacturers in the United States. A comprehensive benefit package is provided including a 401K match.

PREPRESS TECHNICIAN:
Sheetfed book printer has an immediate opening for a Prepress Technician with recent experience. This is a fast paced production position and potential candidates must be highly productive, detail oriented, able to meet tight deadlines, and work rotating shifts. Duties include preflighting and correcting customer files to fit printing specifications, preparing files for output to high end digital proofs and plates, color matching, and ensuring quality throughout the process. Potential candidates should have experience in most of the following: Mac and PC computers, Quark XPress 6 or higher, Photoshop CS or higher, Illustrator CS or higher, InDesign CS or higher, Acrobat 6 or higher. This is a full time position with a complete benefit package.
